Your project data — client names, job addresses, contract amounts — is stored locally in your browser by default. We do not sell your information to third parties.
When you use ContractorDocs, we may collect the following types of information:
Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
Company Information: Your company name, address, phone number, license number, and company logo that you enter in your profile settings.
Project Data: Job site addresses, client names, contract amounts, and other project details you enter to generate documents.
Payment Information: Billing details processed through our payment provider (Stripe). ContractorDocs does not store your full credit card number on our servers.
Usage Data: Information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the application.

Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist in operating the Service, including payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), and hosting (Vercel). These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements.

Your project data is stored in your browser's local storage by default. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or fraud prevention).
