By accessing or using ContractorDocs ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
ContractorDocs provides a software platform that allows contractors, subcontractors, and construction professionals to generate construction-related documents including lien waivers, change orders, subcontractor agreements, and bid proposals using project data you provide. The Service generates documents based on templates and does not provide legal advice.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and using the Service. You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup. All fees are in U.S. dollars. By providing payment information, you authorize ContractorDocs to charge your payment method for the applicable subscription fees. Fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in our refund policy or required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
New users may receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to begin a free trial. At the end of the trial period, continued use of paid features requires a paid subscription. ContractorDocs reserves the right to modify or discontinue the free trial offer at any time.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features through the end of the period for which you have paid. ContractorDocs does not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@contractordocs.io within 30 days.
The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality are owned by ContractorDocs and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the project data and company information you input into the Service. You grant ContractorDocs a limited license to use your data solely to provide the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. CONTRACTORDOCS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DOCUMENTS GENERATED WILL BE LEGALLY SUFFICIENT FOR YOUR PURPOSES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONTRACTORDOCS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF LIEN RIGHTS, LOSS OF PAYMENT, OR DATA LOSS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. IN NO EVENT SHALL CONTRACTORDOCS'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ContractorDocs, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
ContractorDocs reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
